The Annual Iowa Celiac Sprue Conference will be September 6th, 2008 at Cedar Valley Community Church located at 3520 Ansborough Ave., Waterloo, IA. (Directions enclosed). The east side of the church faces Ansborough Ave. Please enter on this side of the church through the door with the sign above it indicating this. Parking is available in this area.
This year we welcome Dr. Allesio Fasano and Una Morgan as our guest speakers. We will also have a baking demonstration by Anna from "Breads by Anna".
GF lunch and desserts will be served as well as samples from the many vendors from across the United States. Vendors will have products available for purchase at the conference.
Also note, the Waverly and New Hampton group will have available their GF cookbook for purchase.

Registration fee is $25.00 for the first family member, $15.00 for each additional family member over the age of 12, and $5.00 per Child. Registration fees will cover the cost of speakers, noon lunch and help with all other expenses for the program. If you would like to share this information with others in your community, you may make copies of any materials you receive. Let's help educate Iowa! For those who would like copies of the dessert recipes brought for the dinner, please include an extra $1.50 with your reservation(s), to cover cost of mailing.
A children's program will be offered from 9:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. There will be crafts, games, movies, outdoor time (if weather permits) and snacks. Children will prepare their own pizza for lunch. This may be eaten with their family during the noon meal. All of this is included in the $5.00 registration fee
